Ever moved into a new build and the garden has been one of the last things to do? Not for this family. They took advantage of the blank canvas they had and made it into something they needed. With 4 pets and 2 kids, they wanted a safe space for the kids to play and also finally have a lawn where it was unspoilt by their pets.
They had a big space to play with. They knew they wanted a long patio for socialising and an area where the kids could play basketball.
They also wanted to maintain an ample sized lawn bordered with a classic style picket fence and painted to match the aesthetics of the house.
As you can see my clients had an issue of manhole covers right smack bang in the middle of their lawn and hardly any patio space
They also weren’t happy with the patio not aligning with the shed door, meaning they would get muddy shoes when they ever accessed the shed
A perfect path was formed to the shed and manholes covered. Nicely finished off with black slate around the side.
They wanted something that will hold in every weather and have longevity. So they chose this gorgeous porcelain tile
